I spent the last 9 days of September and the first day of October relaxing on the Isle of Skye while on holiday. I was staying in Kilmuir, a few miles from Uig, so I visited the Cave of Gold almost daily. Rather than post individual walks, many of which I have previously posted from earlier visits to Skye, I am posting a few of my photographs from my time on Skye.
I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday walking about Skye. I visited the Cave of Gold, the Quiraing multiple times, Bridal Veil Falls, Brother’s Point, The Old Man of Storr, the Elgol coastline, Rubha Hunish, the Rah waterfall, the Fairy Pools, Glen Sligachan, the no name waterfall and Ben Tianavaig. I didn’t attempt any Munros as I was traveling alone and my wife wants to be with when I do them. Knowing that we are returning next May I am willing to wait until then.
