With the poor weather forecast and a three hour drive through, I have decided to leave the 'big hills' of another better day. I am looking at Mam na Gualainn on Friday- hoping to be there for a 10o'clock start, if anyone else is looking for a short day let me know - starting from NN097604.
Cheers

3 of us going to do Sgulaird and had looked at some Grahams if weather really bad, didnt think they'd be much difference between the Corbetts & Munros weather wise. Unfortunately have a 3 hr drive to.

Sgulaird certainly looks like a shorter day, coastal too,,so hopefully a bit less snow. Either way,,early start needed to keep daylight to the max.

Just talked to a very helpful lady called Yonica??? (Not sure of spelling) in the MacDonald Hotel who was very helpful. She heard from someone from the Cairngorm brewery that we were coming for the weekend (not sure how he knew?) On that info she has ordered extra real ale for the weekend :D Cairngorm Wildcat and Tradewinds. Plus they have ales in bottles.
Also they will welcome us doing a quiz.
All good news 8)
I'm off soon, 2 bothys en route (Kettleburn tonight and Gorton Thurs) See you all Friday. :D

It was me that had been talking to the guy from cairngorm brewery. Had a beer tasting with him in the Clachaig last Thursday and chatted for a fair bit afterwards over more beer.

No need to buy me thank you pints. Really no need. That would be too generous. :-)
