I thought I had tightened it up enough, but you are the 2nd person to comment, so obviously I did not.
I might start using my little candle lantern again if it warms the tent up that much.
The candle lantern made a difference. I also use a gas lantern sometimes which makes a considerable difference, but have to be careful with Carbon monoxide gases.
The first time I did mine I had it quite loose and I wasn't sure how tight it should be. I spoke to Henry Shires and sent him a photo and he told me to tighten it way up. I was afraid it might rip, but I got a piece of spare material from Henry and tested to see how easy it was to rip - it's very strong stuff it's got to be said!
I know I've got some better pictures on my other computer, but here's one from the other night showing how tight I had it. When you do tighten it, you might find it better to have the side guylines angled slightly more in the door direction to help keep it's shape when the door is open - if that makes sense?
