fed up sitting in the house on sunday decided to do a walk at the last min, selected ben venue for my trip. started at achray hotel and followed the route as described in the route map, the route was to take me up through forrest track but when i got to that point i was shocked to see the amount of trees that was felled on the hillside,3klm walking on narrow path between felled trees was not very interesting, still i kept going till i reached the foot of the hill and started the ascent ,little bit of scrambling in places and very boggy got to 700mt and could not see a thing for the mist, last part of walk 29mts to summit through some snow and bog, pity about the view at top here u could see nothing but the ground, still had my lunch and returned back down the same route.
