This was our second day of walking and the Corbett Breabag was our destination with a wee detour off to the Bone Caves. Joining me was again Mountain Thyme, i just cannae get rid of her and Wacky Jacky, although Jacky would be continuing onto more hardcore stuff from Breabag, namely Ben More Assynt and Conival. We set off from the Bone Caves car park with MT leading the way, she was on a path so she did well. The path split further up which confused her for a bit before i pointed out the caves. We took the path up to the Caves then i started telling Jacky the history behind the caves and the bones of Bears that had previously been found in the area, hoping there might still be a Bear in the caves to gobble up MT. Once we had a look at the caves we returned to the path and followed it, before it dropped down back towards the start. Here we had a discussion on what way to go. Jacky checked the map and we had to head east but rather than go up the heathery slopes ahead we went around and soon we saw Breabag. We crossed over some moorland, heading towards the slabby slopes of Creag Liath. After we reached them we then had to fine a way up through them and this is where i relieved MT of her duties. You done well auld girl but you still need a bit of practice. I then found a way through the slabs before making my way to the summit, getting the two girls there safely. After we summited we had a bite to eat before Jacky headed off towards her Munros. Myself and MT made our way back down, avoiding the slabs before picking up the path back to the start. We then drove back up the road to do another Corbett, Glas Bheinn. Starting from just south of the Loch, we get on a path for a Glen walk but leave it to take a path to the right, before we head up the steep slopes of Glas Bheinn. Another fainter path climbs steeply up to the ridge zig zagging its way up. Once on the ridge we continue up to the first cairn which isn't the summit before heading over to the summit cairn. We returned the same way, meeting Scoob and Fi who were just setting off as we got back down.
