I arrived at Forest Way Bunkhouse on the Wednesday before the meet and was soon joined by Wacky Jacky, then Mountain Thyme. We spoke about what walk we would do on the way up to Inchnadamph and had various routes to choose from but in the end decided to meet up with fellow walkhighlanders after MT had been in touch with Nathan "Inspector Gadget" . He and two others, namely Londonwalker and a cute wee Monkey from Morecombe, were planning to do Beinn Enaiglair. Great lets join them and we can add on its neighbouring Graham, which is exactly what we did. After we all introduced each other we set off from the car park following the marker sign for the hills. This path led us up past the Lochan before joining another path which we followed to where it forked left and right. We took the left one for a bit before heading up towards Beinn Enaiglair. The wather was fine as we made our way up with some good views towards An Teallach and the Fannichs amongst others. Once we reached the summit we dropped off at the north side just a few yards from the summit to have lunch before heading south for Meall Doire Faid, stopping off at a huge boulder for a wee break before the climb up the Graham. The Graham was a steep wee climb but under 1km to the summit. We again stopped for a snack once we summited, enjoying the views and chatting while we sat in a sheltered spot out of the wind. All that was left now was to make our way down the heathery slopes towards the path back to the start. This took longer than it looked as we truched our way down before getting onto the path. We returned to our cars before heading to different destinations before we would all meet up again at Inchnadamph on the Friday. It was a super day out in brilliant company, cheers.
