Only a couple of cars when I got to the car park, paid £2 for a ticket and set off. 10 mins later I realised the ticket was still in my pocket so had to return & leave it on the dashboard d'oh! Nice view of Driesh from this part of the walk though:

Jock's road branches to the right:

Bridge over the White Water.

Continue through trees with glimpse of crags above:

Then it suddenly opens out to Corrie Fee:

Good path to follow, crags on the left:

And to the right:

Might be a scramble up here?

Winding Fee Burn:

Steps in the path as it gets steeper, waterfall ahead:

Path crosses a snow bank here, easy steps to follow but it looked a bit exposed if you took a slip.

More snow patches higher up:

Over to Driesh, looking more like a grassy lump from this angle:

Cornice on the approach to Driesh:

Breaking cornice from above & Mayar:

Back to the cornice and the descent path going diagonally down into Corrie Kilbo.

Then back into the trees, and more easy path to follow.

Didn't even need gloves today, sun cream would have been useful though :D

Yeah, great photo's

So glad you posted this. I had planned to do this walk at the weekend but the forecast was atrocious so will probably do it at the weekend or next week. I was wondering what the snow was like here....and now I know :o

Lovely report - liked the pics of the Fee burn and Corrie Fee especially. These used to be my 'home hills' feel all nostalgic seeing this - many thanks :D :D
