There is no shortage of reports on here for Ben Venue so I won't go into any detail.

Met Kev shortly after 5 at the Ben Venue car park near the Loch Achray Hotel after clocking off for the week and headed for the hill via the Bealach nam Bo. This route gives grand views on ascent of Lock Katrine and across to the Balquhidder and Crianlarich hills.

We enjoyed a couple of bottles of Ossian Supremely Golden at the top before heading down into the vandalised and ravaged landscape of Gleann Riabhach and back along the track to the hotel and the car park a short distance further along the road.

A very lush looking landscape. Nice photo of the eastern end of Loch Katrine.

As you say, great start to the weekend.
