Our last day on the Cuillins, the northern 3

This was our last day on the Cuillins and joining us was Simon who was shadowing Chris in preparation of his Mountain Leader instructors course, he was also a member of the Lake District Mountain Rescue so we were in even safer hands today. We started this walk from Sligachan and took the path to Coire Basteir, climbing Am Basteir first and then Sgurr nan Gillean with the latter possibly the most technical we had done in our four days with the climbing and scrambling involved. One thing about the Cuillins is the foot and hand holds are all there and although we were roped up for a lot of it at no point did we slip or loose grip and require the safety of the rope or line as i was trying to convince Chris for the four days was the real term for it, but he was having none of it. After we summited Sgurr nan Gillean we skirted round Am Bastier to Bruach na Frithe, with no difficulties along the way. We then returned round Am Basteir where Mo was allowed off her lead and i took the rope off Chris and assumed my position of expedition leader and led us safely off the mountain. Chris you did well, we learned a lot off tips from you. Start slowly, walk with back straight, hands behind your back chest oot like you're walking into a Glasgow pub and arse in. Cheers again Chris if you read this, we all had a brilliant 4 days.
