We spent a week at the end of May enjoying Skye while based in Staffin. As the Quiraing was just 10 minutes from our holiday home AND I could see it from the window, I was up every day before sunrise to check the sky to see if it was worth an early start to enjoy a sunrise at the Quiraing. The only lengthy walk we did was Ben Tianavaig otherwise we were out exploring areas of Skye with short walks. We made a couple trips to An Arid, Braes; one was done in a rain storm while the other was a sunny day, what a difference the weather made. We even managed to spend a day on the Sleat peninsula that we had not previously visited. We travelled the Broadford-Elgol road with visits to Elgol and the Torrin area.
Rather than write multiple reports for our short walks and Ben Tianavaig, which has already been well reported, I have posted a few images of our time on Skye. I hope you enjoy them. . .
