This board is for meeting up, whether it means arranging group walking trips, or just looking for a partner for your next walk or sharing a lift. There is also a club directory.
Warning Feel free to use this board to arrange to meet up with other walkers, either individually or for a particular walk, or for a larger get together over a weekend. The usual precautions are advised when arranging to meet individuals you have not previously met.

Please note that meetups are NOT arranged by Walkhighlands and everyone who arranges to meet for a walk using this board is responsible for their own safety. Please ensure you do not attempt a walk beyond your own abilities.

Might be worth mentioning,,,I just called to book a trekker hut,,,they said they were full that weekend, until I mentioned WH,,so it appears the whole site is booked for us, so if you are calling for a hobbit hut etc,,say you are with the meet.

Might be worth checking with them as when we stayed in a trekker hut a few months ago they don't allow you to access the main hostel. Worth checking in case you all wanted to sit together at night.

The confirmed that the whole place, including huts etc, is booked out for this meet,,so basically,,you cant book any of it, if you aint on the WH meet lol

Once was enough. To be fair, Sandra is really keen to get some hills done so that's my ale & whisky drinking exploits kyboshed, which is probably for the best actually. Just you mind and bring a purple wig, Graeme.

Fiona and I will be attending again on this one. We have booked a hobbit house for the two nights. The woman asked me to say on here that the hobbit houses are now all booked by WH ers. :wink:
