Big plans today for Ben Hope - first Munro for Corrie the dog!! Staying in Durness this week so perfect start point (or so I thought). Got to the cut off for Altnaharra and sign up saying road closed but no more info - as usual the optimist in me thought it will be ok as far as we want to go - not the case!!
Road from the A838 South to Altnahara is closed approx. third of the way down Loch Hope - GR475569 - Bridge is down at this point - see photo
