Climbed these ones during the Nethybridge weekend meet. Forgot my camera on these ones :( So using my mobile for pictures! Bumped into Stevie V and Brian D at Glenmore at the start :D

Started from Glenmore Lodge and cycled along the track passing the An Lochan Uaine.

At the green Lochan

After about a 1km the track splits, the left split heading to Ryvoan Bothy. We took the right split and continued along the track towards Bynack Stable. We continued on our bikes down and across the bridge.
After the bridge I was off the bike and pushing it for quite a bit as the path has lots of gaps in it ? for drainage purposes? Or made by anti-cyclists ? We left the bikes soon after the bridge and continued up the man made track to where it splits.
The right split heading to Bynack More and the left in the direction of the Corbett Creag Mhor.

Split in the path

We took the left path from here it felt like a long long long bloody walk. We continued down to just before the Lochan Bhianne and then headed east up towards the summit of Creag Mhor . This would be my 100th Corbett and walking to the corbett I felt like 100 years of age!!

Cheers for the poster Stevie !

We climbed on the tors and sat for lunch for a good 20 minutes and then headed back down the way we came to pick up the path.

From the path we headed north west and climbed very steeply aiming for the barns of Bynack.
We must have been about 50metres or so away from the Barns when the rain and clag came down and we couldn’t see much in front of us and couldn’t find the Barns at all! :(

We continued north up to the summit of Bynack More. The rain continued so we stopped for a quick summit picture and then headed off.

Not seeing much in front of ourselves in the clag we left the summit and we were heading in the direction of Bynack Beag. Quickly realising our mistake we changed direction and aimed more in an northern east direction and picked the path back up where it previously split.

We continued down this path, and picked up the bikes and mostly down hill from here and back towards Glenmore Lodge. Back to the car in 6hours 45 minutes. Time for a shower, food, some vino and quiztime. At least our table werent last this time, unlike baldfalcons table

it's easier to pull your rear wheel off the ground when your shoes are clipped to your pedals - push down just before the gap/obstacle then pull handlebars up with hands to get front wheel up and pull rear wheel up by pulling up with feet clipped to pedals - horses for courses, some prefer flats, some prefer clipless (take a little getting used to though - when you stop you need to remember to unclip or you and the bike will fall over  ) - cheers :)
