Saturday was coming and the weather forecast was changing by the day from low cloud to maybe the tops clearing depending which area or forecast you were reading myself & jonny616 had been keeping an eye on the weather all week and plumped for Glen Affric an area none of us had been before but first we had to deal with the new A9 average speed cameras from Dunblane to Inverness, not a great fan of them but to be honest with the car having cruise control the journey north was easy and uneventful and didn't seem to take much longer than any other time.
The drive from Inversneckie to Glen Affric passed with not much views to be seen with a low harr coming of Loch Ness and it didn't look promising for the day ahead typical gammy & jonny weather I hear you say hmmmmm, well read on and weep all you doubters for today was going to be a special day a day that makes all the rest worth while.

Booted and suited after a fair bit of faff much of this was taken up by trying to find the parking area at Chisholme Bridge where the walk description says.......charge aint that right Mr Admin   :? no charge now reqd, its long gone,so on with the day and its a cracker from start to finish, hope the pictures do it justice, enjoyImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Glad you got the benefit of our balmy Highland weather for your adventure! :D

How's the ankle doing? Or am I just imagining you hurt your ankle? 8)
