This is my first ever walk report on this site so if im a bit brief with the details i apologise.
We decided to do a Munro on Sunday, picked Ben Lomond again because the weather forecast was for a sunny day and the last time we done it,it was raining, thunder and lightning and hail so all in all not a good day and there were limited views from the top, well what can i say,Sunday, the weather was fantastic the cloud cover non existent and the views from the top were magnificent, what a day! 8)
Came back down via Ptarmigan and although it was a bit dicey at the start, there was still some lying snow on the slopes but the views of Loch Lomond were great,im glad we done it and will probably do it again.
when i wrote this i had'nt downloaded any photos but if you scroll down in this post you will see them . :D

That was exactly the route we did - I prefer to do a round to an out-and-back. We didn't have snow though so the clamber down the north of the summit was easy...

At the start of the climb down from the top it had snow and a bit of ice,it was a bit tricky but if you took your time to assess the route it was ok.But the views on Sunday were brill!!!!! 8)
You really get a better view of the Loch from Ptarmigan.

Yes,so i noticed, the tourist path was very busy.
There were a few people going down Ptarmigan but it was relatively quiet, plenty of time to take some photos and just take in the views..... :D :D
Did spot a few people sunbathing further down..
Again i will post some photos later.

Yup. I know whats wrong brizo67 ..you are not putting the correct codes around your image links to photobucket

For example take the first image you posted..

[img] [/img]

You have one to many [img]’s before the http

It should read [img]http… etc …etc … etc

You also have one [/img] to many at the end of the.jpg

It should read etc..etc..etc .jpg[/img]

Hope that makes sense because I cant type it out correctly or you wont see the writing..only the photo ..like this

Image

Ps..make sure you don’t have any blank spaces between the

Good luck..do it once and you will have it cracked forever ..its like riding a bike :-D
