snow up ben wyvis?

Postby golfpunk » Mon Mar 02, 2015 11:30 am

anyone know if there's snow up wyvis? hoping to maybe get up sometime this week but not too keen if there's snow as we don't have the gear for winter walking yet.

thanks in advance.

Drove down by there and stopped in Inverness yesterday but, wasn't really paying attention. I'd imagine there is snow higher up though and there's more forecast to fall over the next few days. The winds recently have been high, and set to continue for a bit yet, so chances are it'll be icy on top as well.

No doubt someone in the locality will have a better idea though.

Snowed last night - plenty of fresh stuff down to 300m now.

Was there last weekend. We had heavy snowfall overnight and it was white from the car park up. Anything could have happened in a week though and more importantly anything could happen in the next few days. Enjoy whatever you do.

Tuesday morning: 2 inches of snow in Beauly and still falling. Wyvis must be buried in the white stuff right now! :D

Odd - that shows up the right way up on my tablet, but appears upside down on my laptop :? . Couldn't work out what you were on about initially.

Been loads at the end of last month. Now it's back to a similar amount to what's shown in the photos further upthread. Probably melting quite fast though.
