Tha mi air ais a sgriobhaidh :D

We have had a busy Winter so far with 8 Munro's completed in a mixture of weather. This was to be our second attempt at Beinn Bhuidhe in as many weeks after been beaten by waist deep snow in the Coire / Gorge two weeks past

No such issues today we hoped :D

Cycled into the place where you leave the bikes ,interestingly I fail to see how cycles can affect a woodland that has a track through it and which is more likely to be getting harmed by the sheep that are so evidently hefted within the fence :? ... resisted the temptation to take the bike through because I could not be arsed

Used the trad route , left hand path up the gorge which was fine if no a wee bit eroded only one stretch which was tricky to the left of the waterfall with wet snow and at a steep gradient which required axe work .

Once over that onto the moine , a quick look at the hydro track being bulldozed up the hill then up the gully onto the ridge to the summit side of the 901m point...... all easy enough going :D

Cumaidh sinn air an druim ..we kept to the ridge point ,some grand views to the summit and quickly gained height ,good sunshine although hazy

Aonach druim ..steep rises and wee bit care used micros and axe to pull up the slope but a bit overkill going up with good boot purchase

Bha sinn air a cárn mu dheidhinn da air fhichead ... stayed at carn for about 40mins catching warm sun and taking lunch before heading off over the 901m top

Steep decent through wee gullies and creagan but a good way off this steep beinn and lands you at the sheep fang close to the boarded dwelling place .

All in all a tough wee hill ...... cha bith mi air ais

Some nice shots of this hill

Took me three attempts to get to its summit, and then all I enjoyed was clag  Certainly looks impressive with the remnants of snow clinging on :D

Did this hill on Sunday past with very similar conditions although we walked the whole route. It was a busy place on Sunday with walkers from a few clubs out. A fine day to enjoy a fine hill. One I would do again.

Nice trip Colla, the ridge up to summit looks fine in the snowy conditions.
How did An Cu get on while you cycled? Does he just trot along beside you? Im contemplating a bike but im sure my two would do their upmost to get right under the wheels

Looks a fine walk. Love the picture of your dog surveying the route ahead.
