Another warm sunny day with very little wind. This really was a walk of two halves. While the bottom was horrendously boggy - I was really tired when I returned to the car from trying to stay upright during the last steep drop - the top provides great going with stunning views in all directions - even if today it was bit hazy in the distance. On the ascent I took the path around the lower rocky outcrops - while in descent I went straight over them - slightly better. Not a lot to say except to show the pictures.

The main challenge comes into view - it's not nearly as steep as it looks

Looking down again - the "other" Garbh Bheinn (Ardgour) is on the horizon
I stopped for a rest at the foot of the main section. The going improves dramatically at this point where a stony little zig-zag path begins and in no time it seemed, I reached the point where the ridge starts to flatten out.

to the S the Aonach Eagach ridge looked really wintery: by contrast the Glencoe side was completely snow free: but that's Spring in the Highlands

Lovely set of pictures and a fine looking top bit of the route up.
