Disathairne agus bha sinn a fh'albh moch sa 'mhadainn ,a' fagail Suaineart air an aiseig leith uair an deidh sia ann Gleann Carran aig Leith uair an deidh ochd ...... rathad falamh , sgionneil :D

...... Saturday up early and away on the 6.20am ferry in Glen Carron for 8.20 , no tourists doing 30mph in the 60 zone to choke our route so a pleasure drive until the Kintail road through Glen Sheil which has a hellish surface for about 8 miles ,huge hole in it  . Our target was Mor Uisge the big wet one and the adjacent Corbett and to take us into the 30's , Munro's left and 30 Corbett's completed ! .

Set off to promising conditions

A wet enough route low down but I have seen and been in worse a fair pull up the steep sides to the summit Cárn right enough but very straightforward and found ourselves on the summit after 1hr 20mins :D

Sgionneil agus seallaidh gu Torbheartan alainn gu dearbh ..... grand with good views to Torridon

We spent a while waiting for the ceo partially surrounding Maoil Luainne and partners to clear , but clear it did and three I have still to do yet before setting off to the far end of the plateau .

Scenery opening up toward Maoile Lunnaidh and sisters

Not to bad a drop and a fine scalloped Coire with decent underfoot conditions , I have had enough of the snow for this year !

We soon hit the wee Cárn at the far end and stopped there for an hour's lunch total time 3 hrs to here ,no bad going and an cu as always first to lift his leg at the summit :D

Carried full Winter kit but never used it ,still a fair amount of snow in East /North aspects but perhaps that is the last of it for this year .A grand wee circuit which appears to be often given poor press , we really enjoyed the morning easy going and great scenery ,looking ahead now to Maol Lunnaidh and her sisters which look like a great days walking.

Great! I liked this pair as well, especially the Corbett. I was on Skye so got the great weather too. Maybe I met you as I left here at 6:15am!

Looked braw.. You get some right bonny views from there. :)
I still have to go back for the corbet before June.. I know it's demoted, but was a munro when I started my round, so somehow wouldn't feel compleat without it.
From the back there are interesting looking stalkers paths I wouldnie mind exploring...

Nice hills and handy for me - people only write them off as they are so close to Torridon and Coulin :)
