Route description: The Ring of Steall, Mamores

Munros included on this walk: Am Bodach, An Gearanach, Sgùrr a' Mhàim, Stob Coire a' Chàirn

Date walked: 14/09/2014

Time taken: 8.3 hours

Distance: 13 km

Ascent: 1389m

Finally we managed to do some Munros together with Richard on the sunday as we have different days off work mostly. Decision made for The Ring of Steall. Richard was in Fort William from previous day as he walked Ben Nevis on the saturday, I started my way from home very early morning on the sunday - meeting arranged in Glen Nevis near Youth Hostel at 06:00 am.

Thanks for this :clap: - its another trip on the list for this summer so I found the photos really helpful - its good to have an idea of the terrain. Loved the photo showing how to balance on the wire bridge ... now can I :shock: :lol:

another good trip, PD - certainly a nice area in which to walk despite the clag - have to return here some time having seen nothing but summit cairns in the clag :roll: - cheers :)

Always appeals this one when TRs appear, not managed it yet. Does look like one to save for a clear day.
