After we had caught the very early morning flight from Amsterdam we were well on time when we stood waiting at the Glasgow station in Queen Street. The first two days were reserved for Corrour. Immediately after our arrival in the wonderful Corrour Station House we set off. Beinn na Lap seemed the perfect mountain to begin with. Without much trouble we reached the summit. The weather was fine and the view breathtaking.

Hi Silverhill! Beinn na Lap is a nice mountain to start out with. The weather was with us. On the other days the sky was overcast and most of the time it was raining or snowing with a bit of sun every now and then.

Hi there ere1, glad you enjoyed Beinn na Lap, this little holds something special for me as I compleated on it and was joined by members of my family and friends, some were staying at the Youth Hostel but I wild camped with my Grandson and took the first train home in the morning. A very beautiful area and having the Corrour Station House as well to drop into to sample a pint of the Corrour Gold, made it special as well. Must go back again to sample the lovely looking food they have on offer.

Hi Rodmiester and Rockhopper! Beinn na Lap was a real pleasure. The weather and the often beautiful views did their part. I regret not being able to go to the Highlands more often. This is alas, financially, not affordable. The coming months I won’t be joining you all but at a certain time I will be back. Greetings from Rijswijk. Peter
