Absolutely stunning views. That's the second time you've had great views of the Black Cuillin from there - not that I'm remotely jealous or anything!

Great photos, would of been up there about a week before you - a bit more snow for us, so interesting to see how much that is reduced in your photos. The amount of blue sky we had in mid-late March was amazing.

With regards to the tourist path up, we actually walked across the corrie and started heading up to the other side for the other summit, having followed the strong path before I pointed out we were walking the wrong direction for the top! I knew we were aiming to get a gully so we roughly worked it out but were never sure we were on the path until we started to come up the gully.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. It was indeed a wonderful day and within a few days was back to winter conditions - which seem to be pretty bad today too (3rd May).

Dogplodder, you have to go back on a fantastic day - there's nothing quite like that view!

Kevsbald - what a hill to finish on - but you'll have to wait for a good day!

Got sore eyes trying to find those folk left of centre 1/7th of the way up. Been along Garbh-bheinn-Chlach Ghlas-Bla Bheinn a couple of times ages ago but don't think I'll be doing that again though you never know. This looks like a good option for a re-visit probably some time in the distant future. Can see why you'd want to dwell on the tops on such a day.
