South of Crianlarich - Early morning triple M

The weather forecast for friday did not sound so bad, but expectation of rain, some wind and dark clouds afternoon made me to prepare some shorter trip with an early start. The Crianlarich area was a good option and I chose the three Munros from Glen Falloch. Looking at the WH route and some reports it's usually walked separatelly: An Caisteal & Beinn a'Chroin from the Glen Falloch and Beinn Chabhair from Inverarnan. Some reports shows all three together as well. I saw some photos from both routes, deciding which one to use then join just the other side Munro(s) and same way back, but I wanted to enjoy maximum of the area and see both sides despite the fact that it means some walk next to the A82 road to get back to the start point. Decision made, looked forward I started very early to catch the sunrise somewhere Not much difference between two possible routes from home I chose to drive both it means via Glasgow and Loch Lomond in the morning and via Crianlarich and Stirling afternoon as the Glasgow route would be busy afternoon - especially on friday

Three Munros done, afternoon just began, nobody else seen in the Hills and also the new black gear ( winning from the Webtogs ) successfuly tested. Another nice day in the Mountains !!!

These Crianlarich hills - in fact all 7 of them - are a characterful bunch.

I did them last August, and it looks like some of your pics were taken from exactly the same spot as mine!
