As a last minute decision I followed the weather forecast and headed east for my first proper visit to the actual Cairngorms! I got a lot more than i bargained for. Leaving aside the ski paraphernalia, the area and views are stunning! I will be planning bigger days here very soon!

It's a great circuit, even with all the ski rubbish on Cairngorm :D

Any sign of Big Grey Man?

Thanks ancancha! The little Bunting seemed very tame and not worried by me being there. I really was impressed by the views, much more dramatic than I expected.

Totally agree BP. I had been to Cairn Gorm before doing the tourist thing, but even still it was a shock to the system when came around the cairn and saw the paths, tourists, restaurant etc!

Unfortunately no sighting of the Grey Man  My other half had actually asked for lots of photos from Macdui to look for orbs and shadows
