on the way home after failing to get to Stornaway on our new boat; left it in Oban until we try again in August. I'm writing this up two days after my walk and I have serious 'delayed onset muscle soreness' (DOMS)
! I am obviously making progress 8 months post op now from my ACL repair, as apparently, I did this walk in the minimum guidebook time of 6 hours, which explains my pain! I tried to get the kids to come but they opted to sit in the van
When I got back they had run down the battery listening to music. The day started off a bit inclement and misty, unseasonably cold but cleared up later and was pleasant if not that warm. I'm down to 73 now...oooohh! I had a good glimpseof the fantastic Cruachan horseshoe which I completed on 24/11/93. I remember precisely as it was a few days before I got married and it ranks as one of my best ever winter days, taking 9 hours.
