Windy day on Sail Mhor

This hill seems to be a lesser visited hill, which I think is a pity, I loved it.

Following the burn upwards, heading south

There's several waterfalls, all of great character.

Another waterfall, Sail Mhor in the background.

The landscape is wide and vast.

Maybe I liked this hill because as a Dutchman I can appreciate the open landscape :)

At a burn, you turn right towards the bealach. Once there, the view towards the west opens up

On the way up the weather starts deteriorating, very strong wind

Finding shelter on the west face of Sail Mhor, against the very strong wind, hail and snow. In the background the slog up to the summit.

But we did make it to the first summit

and to the second.. Over my shoulder my lady at the first summit

Agreed. The views from the top are stunning, if you're lucky enough to get half decent weather. I'd actually suggest you do this one again with a bit clearer weather, because I spent more than an hour on the top just drinking in the views
