Having come off Ben Tianavaig at about 0930hrs I had eyes on adding to my Graham count and with me not far from Portree thought the ideal pair would be The Storr and Hartaval. When I arrived at the start both sides of the road were being used as an overflow car park so I guessed the start was going to be kind of busy, nothing else for it, head down and go.

Brilliant!! Incredible clarity is the blue sky :) I've been lucky enough to be up these in summer and winter conditions.

Cheers.

Hi dooterbang, a fabulous week for walking, made up for this crap Summer so far  Once out of the way of the tourists I really enjoyed this walk. The original idea was to have done the ridge but other things came up.

Hi MilanBohac, Skye is a must for you to visit, luckily the weather very kind last week :D Just goes to show that it's not all about Munros and Corbetts, some wonderful smaller hills with superb views.
