No need to be concerned with the deer stalking as its all open path. Took a shortcut after the cairnwell, right down the side of the hill. Steep but great fun. It is a shame there are masts on the top, spoils it.
All in all an easy route, few steep bits to get the heart started. Recommend this for young enthusiasts.
Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
