Just posting to say that I've now finally updated the Walkhighlands route after that visit. It now features a slightly improved start. Still best earlier in the summer though before the bracken gets up.
Hi Paul thanks for that, in fact we went up to just beyond the mast on our left, up the hill which appealed greatly and turned around at the road junction where another road goes down to the left and decided probably the best placed to park was before the bridge as identified by WH as there was plenty of room for cars. Apart from the first section, a great route with pretty good underfoot conditions especially coming back along the ridge.
