The week of my dreams II. Beinn Bhuidhe via the hydro track

On October the eighteenth the remote Beinn Bhuidhe was on my program. I took the bus from Arrochar to Cairndow. My mind was set on testing the hydro track. This so called “Karakoram Highway in the Highlands” brought me to higher regions. At the summit the wind was strong but I stood there for ages because the view was breathtaking. This wonderful day ended with a delicious meal in the Stagecoach Inn.

Karakorum Highway, yep good description Was thinking exactly he same as Teaandpies made worse by folk descending telling me what wonderful views from the summit, as I reached the crest in a maelstrom of wind and rain

You missed a trick by not going up the usual way ere1, especially when you had a glorious day.
Perhaps you'll get another chance to do that. It's very pretty.
