The first wild camp of 2016 took place in an undisclosed location within the Langstrath Valley. Although I won't tell you exactly where we stayed, google will (unfortunately) be able to help you find out the secret...

Parked in Stonethwaite Village and wandered down the Langstrath Valley to our stop out point. It was already dark and the views along the valley as well as the stars above were awesome.

We woke early the next morning and decided to tackle Glaramara. We clambered up Cam Crag and around to Glaramara before contouring up to the peak. Alot of snow still on the peaks which was alot of fun!

Having ticked the box we then made our way back down to the Langstrath Valley, and back to Stonethwaite Village.

An excellent first stop out; heres hoping for many more in 2016. 8)
