Robinson, Hindscarth and Dale Head

Parked up at Dalegarth and made our way up toward Robinson from the woods. We were straight into a long uphill which was hard work; nevertheless we plodded on as the rain started to pour...

Robinson itself was still covered in snow, making it even more difficult to climb but eventually we arrived at the summit. We decided not to hang around as it was now pouring down, and there was a strong wind.

We walked across to Hindscarth as the weather got worse... and from there we walked to Dale Head, at this point the cloud had come in that much we were practically in 'whiteout' conditions. With this in mind we descended from the fell into Honnister pass. Picking up the road and following it back to the car.

That sounds a bit dire ADT, but at least you had some good company along the way  I like that first shot of the bare trees....but then I can't feel the rain from here

Nice little adventure! That's certainly an unusual way off Dale Head
Best way to do these hills is from Little Town in Newlands. :)
