Latrigg from Keswick with the route above the one we ended up taking out of many to choose from.

The view is great already...

Around about here, where there is a junction, we took the path right and around the south side of Latrigg:

We then turned left where you can see a steep path up the south of Latrigg, went through the gate and...

Up we go and wow!

The view of Keswick and Derwent Water from Latrigg is brilliant, along with many of the surrounding Wainwrights and it takes no time at all to reach the summit. Well worth a walk as a warm up for Blencathra or Skiddaw or purely for the amazing scenery.

Beautiful views from that lump Chris, looks like you did ok with the weather too, even if the rain tried sneaking in later on. Love the panoramas and in particular the 'lake district in all its glory' shot...lovely

Cheers Chris, aye it's a cracking wee lump and you can see all the big hills surrounding you, a stunningly pretty part of the country. I love my Scottish giants but there is something about the Lakes that keeps drawing us back there... :D
