Drove up to Glencoe on sunday staying at the red Squirrel for a couple of days Had the customary visit to the Clachaig for a few ish !! . Just me and the two dogs First target Binnean Beag should have done this last year when I done SEM but with some foul weather and a lack of intestinal fortitude it was left on the to do pile.
Early start booted and suited 0730 clear sky and warm Once again got lost in the woods No need for a map once out in the open just follow the tracks had a few stops on the way up to the lochan no need to hurry on a day like this . Caught sight of the target but forgot about the 400m drop to get there .
Picked up the faint track heading up Beag a wee bit of scrambling nothing much just followed jake with wee Pip following on behind got to the top just after 1100hrs and stayed for about 30min enjoying the views and the peacefullness and thinking about this is why I do this . Time to head back Passed about 6 people going up and two more temporary residents at the Lochan got back to the carpark at 1500hrs a beer then the drive back to the campsite . BRAW
