Another great day on the hills, we headed to the North Face car park to start our walk up Carn Mor Dearg, the path is pretty much at the car park and almost as soon as you leave the car park your climbing up the well laid out (and steep) path. The route yesterday has benefited out of the last couple of weeks weather being decent as we had good dry walking and very little snow almost throughout the entire walk, the only time we had any water on the route was on the final drop from Ben Nevis back to the path we set out on for Carn Mor Dearg, and some sizeable patches of snow on the summit of Ben Nevis.

Our walk across the ridge couldn't have been better, perfect dry conditions and very little wind allowed us to work our route across the top of rocks instead of the path to the side, absolutely one of the best bits of walking in the area.

There was plenty people doing the same walk along Carn Mor Dearg, some with guides, we thought it might have been a bit busier with it being a holiday weekend and great conditions, we weren't wrong, when we got on the summit of Ben Nevis it was absolutely mobbed, between the crowds on the summit and those on the path heading up and down there was easily thousands on Ben Nevis yesterday.

It was good to finally get a day where conditions were perfect for the walk after having it in our sights for months.
