simon-b wrote:That is a big walk, Petr, and a lot of ascent. You got some excellent views. Two friends and I linked these three summits with a route similar to yours, in reverse, two years ago. But we started and finished at Achallader, which cut down on the amount of climbing. But our route therefore didn't finish right at the hotel, so we had to drive there and couldn't drink beer! You say the beer tasted more than well - anything like as good as a velký Plzeňský Prazdroj from a proper pivnice?

dav2930 wrote:Great photos Petr. The heat takes it out of you on a big walk like that doesn't it? Still, 9 hours is a very good time! I once attempted the Welsh 3000's in a June heatwave; I got so hot and thirsty I had to give up at Ogwen.

Walking can be dangerous and all walkers must take personal responsibility for their own safety. You should always carry a backup means of navigation and not rely on a single phone, app or map.
