Less challenging Munros

Hi, I know all Munros have their own challenges but lookin for any in the Southern Highlands. I'm a fit 27 year old but got knee surgery in February and haven't done a hill since the tail end of last year due to this. Looking for a hill with more of a path on the route up rather than a lot of scrambling. I've done the Arrochar Alps, Ben Lomond, Chabhair. Looking for a new (less challenging) for my first one back. Cheers

Ben Chonzie could be an option. Not too long, land rover tracks most of the way up, nothing too steep or challenging.

Carn Aosda and the Cairnwell. Though knee mightn't like driving so far.

Ben Lawers has a pretty good path and not too strenuous.

Mayar is the easiest one I've climbed, I think, and a really great walk as well via Corrie Fee

The cairnwell 3 are straight forward- although at the top of the cairnwell you lose the will to live with all the crap at the top. Mount keen is easy but maybe too long

Probably a bit much of a drive but my first hill back after a knee op in early March was Carn Bhac, from Inverey, Braemar. A fairly easy cycle in to the ruined lodge, then a very easy angled ascent on foot, a nice wander down and a near freewheel all the way out.

Ben Lawers is probably your best/closest one for an easy ascent, with only the final slopes anywhere near steep. Ben Vorlich (Loch Earn) is another straightforward one (if done on it's own) .

I second Ben Chonzie, as this may not be as hard on your knee when descending, compared wirh some Munros.

I ended up doing Ben Vane. Was the only one in Arrocher I hadn't done so just went for it. Felt it was a good challenge for my knee and managed it well. Thanks for the suggestions everyone
