I had to curtail my Inchnadamph adventure as my Grand kids were up visiting from Nottingham, but at least I knew already the weather was to be a lot better on the Monday and Tuesday so something would be done. I had identified a visit to the Ben Lawers group which gave us lots of various options. Abbey my Grandaughter had done three Munros and Harris my Grandson twelve.
Beinn Ghlas was to be first with Ben Lawers following with us heading for the bye pass from the bealach which gave us the possibility of doing Meall Corranaich and doubling Abbey's total.

It's a well worn path all the way. After leaving the car park on the West side of the road cross the road and take the well made up path opposite

Early on we pass Isabella on her first Munro but shortly afterwards we see her getting a piggy back from members of her group, no doubt all will take their turn in good time. Hi again Isabella, I told you you would get a mention, hope you all enjoyed your day on the hill

Time for Abbey to have a slight shoe adjustment before any blisters start

A quick water stop as it's becoming quite warm, bit of a change from the weather encountered at Inchnadamph at the weekend

Thanks Sunset tripper, what can I say, what a day. It was so good to get a dry day after both above and on the ground, and I was so pleased to have the the family see what fabulous views you get on the hills when you get the weather, superb. Hopefully they have time to do another one before they leave to go down South.

Rod,
It's well documented how much fun our meets can be  , and what a good group we have, when we get together.

That said, theses are the days that really count...
Out in the hills, fresh air, (hopefully) enjoying the views, with the family.
Great example to your grandkids; just keep those Inchnadamph photographs under (not on top of) the table.

Hi Martin, glad both of them like the outdoors! What a difference a bit of sun makes with views as well, cannot get better. How are you these days? Still getting up the hills, and when's your next visit up the Scottish hills?

Hi Fifelass, it was a great day out, unfortunately we did not get our wild camp in afterwards but there is always another day. Put it this way nobody passed us   But I'm always willing to go the speed of the slowest and in this case it was me
