Just a quick wee report on the condition of the path after the recent tree work, I know some might think that its a bit of a mess but give it a year or two and I`m more than sure it will be a much better path than it ever was :)
The first part has a lot more stepping stones (which I hate) but will give the path a much longer life.

And also I see a few new?? paths going to various view points, which at the moment look a bit bare but give it time and all will be great !!

New paths, given time they will be great view points
As I was in a hurry to get some sunset photos I had done the climb in 33mins and just a bit less on the way down, normally 2-2.5hrs would be a fair time for a gentle wander up this wee cracker of a hill. Oh and the deer in the photo`s were no more than 20 feet away at 850pm and how they didn`t spook is beyond me !!
