Ben Cruachan revisited: great views and ridge walk

I did Ben Cruachan in April 2014 in winter conditions, snow, ice and fogy on the top...no any views from the summit...

But today...it was a different story !
After my refreshment ( great visibility and views too ) in Lake District on friday 21.10. 2016 where I did 7 hills, incl. Helvellyn via The Striding Edge which was one of my goals for this year

Only one day off after working weekend today, wanted something nearby and get back home early. The forecast looked great for Argyll, so I decided to do Ben Cruachan again - together with Stob Diamh via the ridge.

I decided to do it unusually anti-clock wise as I believed that from this side I will see the mighty Ben Cruachan all the time...all the walk...from different levels and different angles.......to catch as much as possible of Cruachan's beauty

A beautiful iconic ridge. I did it in white, but it looks every bit as good in green! Glad you had such good weather for it (though I know you don't let clag and wet put you off.... )
