Beinn Achaladair and Beinn a'Chreachain

Good clear route, snow and ice did not help on the summits. White out conditions slowed things down with careful navigation checks. I had trouble locating Beinn Achaladair true summit and with 30/40mph winds I took a photo at 1036 cairn, 1038 sot height as indicated on my map and GPS and a thirds photo at the second cairn.

howdy flipside, good to meet you the other day between Achaladair and a'Chreachain!

Think I had my fill of camping in sub zero blizzards for a while! although the tent was great

Next day I was up the top of Mhanach by 930am so nice way to start the day, the approach you described was grand, from a distance I saw a substantial railway bridge over Allt Kinglass and thought of you!

So I will be on the look out for my first proper winter walk when the snow sets in!
