Falls of Foyers

Another wee walk that exceeded expectations, I think because the gorge housing the falls is like a mini canyon stretched out over half a kilometre -a grand setting indeed. Don't think much of Robbie Burns' tribute though!

I'd agree with others that it is difficult to capture the scale -big waterfall, big cliffs, big gorge.

One of Scotlands best waterfalls, a great place to visit. The upper falls are worth a visit also.

I agree, the falls really exceeded our expectations too, and it's difficult to appreciate the scale in photos alone! Lovely photos down at the loch - lots of flies when we were there

I thought it was great, especially with it meeting wifely approval notwithstanding the hated steps.
Never caught a fish. Even on a tourist trip off Lofoten in a sea teaming with fish I was the only person to repeatedly fail to get anything. Did get a bit of somebody's rainbow trout for breakfast in Sourlies once. That was rather nice!
