Happy 100th to me
Perfect day today. The Easains, grey corrie's and all around looked fantastic poking their pointy heads above the cloud all morning.
First walk this year where I've not been bothered with the weather or time constraints, or carrying what felt like a tonne on my back ( forgot the axe but wasn't needed as there wasn't a lot of snow left)
Could afford to sit on each summit for about 15 mins each soaking up the views.
Only real thing I'll mention is that it was boggier on the ascent to Sgriodain than it was on the descent from Chno Dearg. If you head for the stream on your left as your descending there are bits of path here and there- and a couple of wee waterfalls.
Fantastic summit and views on Sgriodain. Thought for a minute today that it would have been good to have someone with me- just to take a pic or two close to the edge on Sgriodain. Then I thought-nah, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. Only one up there today.
Chno Dearg looks so close from here. Wee bit (not much) of a pull up the the summit though.
Cap doffed to Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg.
Cheers
