Please add me to the list of campers! I may bring my (12 year old) son, depending on the weather. I'm not sure about the rest of group's view on this (comments please!). I can always send him out out to the tent to play with his gadgets if things get overly raucous!

Because hillwalking is secondary at the meet to everyone proving that they are a bunch of loud pish -heeds?
I certainly wouldnie bring a kid along, unless I was prepared to forgo the evening banter, which pretty much makes up most of the meet...

Don't know if I can make it until I find out what my shifts are btw

Hope you can make it !!! As for the son they are camping so at least the boy isnt in the hostel and when it get a certain time its time to retire to bed . As for my 14 year old i would'nt bring him and i know for sure he wouldn't want to come

I'm actually off work when there's a meet for once! I'll probably decide nearer the time as it's a fair old trek from here & i also might well be up that way bumbling around on Corbetts in late June. I'll be staying in the van if i do head up. Great choice btw,stunning area.

I'd be doing a similar thing,driving up part of the way after finishing work on the Thursday & heading back Tuesday.

July is beginning to look busy for me and I may need to employ the services of a good divorce lawyer, but matrimonial harmony to one side am hoping I can make it to this one.

I'll either be camping somewhere or tucked up nicely in my car boot
