I examined the pedals of the white angel begonia carefully, and I found them sparkling in the sun. I had seen this wonder before – reflections of sunshine centred to perfection before my eyes, and I remembered it.

I remembered it from the path between the abundant Munro Ben More and its windblown neighbour Stob Binnein when the sun was burning bright high above, and when every stone of the mountains sparkled in praise. I was there to explore and I remember.

I remembered it from lying down in the green grass with you next to me a hot summer day, when sunshine touched your skin and made you glow beautiful perfection into my eyes. I was there to love and I remember.
