Two down two to go, Sunday had promised to be the best weather so this had to be the hill to do. I have been looking forward to doing this one for a long time now and it certainly did not disappoint especially since as most of the climb up saw low cloud shrouding the summit top only for it to open up and to clear after ten minutes after reaching the summit.

Great report! I booked a cottage in Dumfries and Galloway for our holiday in October and this one is on my to-do list!

Hi there KatTai, hope you get good weather, I loved this wee hill, maybe do midweek if you can to avoid the crowds. Other good hills nearby checkout other reports, enjoy :D

Hope so! I'll go mid-week, we arrive and leave on the Saturday and OH wants to explore the old bookshops which will probably be quieter during the week, then we can leave him there and go walking lol
