Don't suppose anyone is planning on this walk on Wednesday. Long shot, but I'm thinking of heading up.
And it would be easier with a car at either end

If it was a weekend trip I would probably join you Coop. I did the brothers ridge last weekend so looking to do the Five Sisters sometime soon.
Good luck on your travels.

Cheers WW
I'll probably do An Bathach and Ciste Dhubh now though.
Hopefully have 2 days off together soon where I'll have more time incase I have to walk back. ( when i did the brothers I walked back in the rain from the Cluanie inn - don't relish a walk along the main road again)

If you can't get a lift, you could walk up Glen Lichd first then back over the Sisters. Nice Glen and a convenient circular walk.

Cheers malky_c. I've had a look at that route- and im bearing it in mind. looks like a b line from the end of the path and head up to the ridge line.
Heading up sun or mon now and I'll probably go along glen lichd and up or I'll just come off after Sgurr Fhuaran and down to the road somewhere

You'd probably be able to hitch a lift I reckon? Or leave a bike one end?

Perhaps a little extravagant but I was staying at the Kintail Lodge Hotel and booked the local taxi to take me up to the start. If I remember correctly I was charged £12 for the journey (2013).

Cheers again to Jaxter and Dunfie

Hitching again on Sunday or Monday it shall be ( with better luck this time hopefully ) :D . The bike hasn't been used yet ( I know it will eventually) but that's the last of the last resorts. I'm no purist or anything like that - I'm just not into cycling much

Safe walking folks

Job done.
Managed to catch the 1648 ( didnt even realuse there was a bus at this time until i saw someone standing at the side of the road) from the Jak o bite. ( how happy was I considering I was either going to wait for the one at about half 6 or start walking and hitching).
£ 7.90 and I'm not even going to grumble about it

Ps - fantastic walk, ridge lines, views and the weather played ball as well.

Cheers
