Quick Drying Trousers

I am looking for quick drying trousers. I have Mountain Equipment Ibex and Rab something's but am not convinced they are the best. For lightweight days I have an old pair of Montane Terra Pants.

I have come close to buying Montane Super Terra for the cold season.

I would welcome recommendations.

I usually wear ME Ibex trousers. I think they are fabulous BUT they are not quick drying. I like the stretchy material. Also have Terra Pants but rarely use them for hill walking due to the lack of stretch. Rohan Bags are extremely quick drying but not so warm.

I wear berghaus otler breeks. Dry out pretty quick and comfy to wear

I've had the same pair of Montane Terra trousers for years now and when they need replacing, I'll be getting another pair of them.

Quick drying, light, comfortable, allow movement and tough wearing.

My favourites are my Paramo Velez. Some people find them too warm but I don't. Keep you dry. If cold I wear leggings underneath. But they aren't particularly stretchy.

Rohan trousers are tops in this respect. I've tried all the brands you've remarked on but after trying ROHAN, very little if any come close

I am a great fan of Paramo Cascada trousers unless it is hot.
Even if warm, the side ventilation zips make a big difference.

I've had several pairs of trousers over the years, but if I'm honest. I'd rather save the money and wear my old army combats. comfortable, lightweight, quick drying and practical. As you can tell, I'm not a brands wearer.

I generally use Craghoppers Kiwi Pro Stretch and Elite - think the latter are also water resistant and I also have a couple of pairs of shorts in the same line. I find they dry quickly and they're full stretch. Maybe not as hard wearing as some walking trousers but they're lightweight and can often be picked up in sales - cheers
