Snowdon Horseshoe in the clag.

I decided to do a quick hop over to Snowdonia to attempt the Snowdon Horseshoe on a few days off work. I sort of had an idea what was in store on Crib Goch but in reality it can be even more daunting.
The day I did this in August had low cloud and a very early start made it so I had it to myself.
This made it even more spooky especially with some strong winds trying to knock me off sideways.
I really enjoyed it though and found this particular adventure to be a bit of an adrenaline buzz.

Nice one. It's a fine round isn't it? Shame about the clag but you got some nice shots all the same. That's an interesting side-view of Crib Goch - where was it taken from?

Re. the title of your report; if it isn't via Crib Goch then it isn't the Snowdon Horseshoe!

Good point, it would be harder trying to do the horseshoe any other way
The side view if I remember correctly was taken (zoomed) whilst ascending Y Lliwedd but I had to be quick because the clag was ever present.
I loved this outing because of the exposure.
