Can I have a 'P' please Bob - Scotland

Yes, Sgurr, it is the Cauldstane Slap. Another clue was that my entry in the January photo competition is looking straight at it. I am lucky enough to be able to walk there from home, usually on a linear walk to West Linton, but I do use my bus pass to get home.

Over to you.

Bus passes are great things, but when I wanted to climb Ben Starav for my 60th birthday found that I would have to set off home before I got there to be back by nightfall....and the buses don't even go down Glen Etive.

K is no longer cheered up by the IPS

I suspect most of us on this thread are bus pass generation.

All this about bus passes isn't part of the clue.

Relieve my misery. Is this anything to do with Clyde Puffers?

Not Clyde Puffers but parrots it is, you just have to find out where.

Correct. I was sad to see they had gone, but apparently they didn't realise it was cruel just putting them together when they all used to be family pets that needed rehomed (for some reason, people thought they would last as long as dogs and were appalled when they discovered that the companion to the teenager was still living with them years later, so got rid of them). So the charity now attempts to rehome them. I suppose it was like the move from orphanages to foster care with humans.

nigheanddonn is probably less close to running out of new places than CharlesT who must have contributed about 1/3rd of the clues here.

I was trying not to claim it, as me setting a clue always leads to some kind of row - I should never have commented! :)

Oh come on...there's a bit in The Grauniad today which claims that couples who row are most likely to stay together. Not sure how or if this transfers to facebook posting.

Aww :)

This C had to build a monument because visitors from another C kept asking where it was.

This is just a wild guess. . Is the monument at Cumbrae, and did the people of Clydebank want to know where it was?

Not there.

The monument is to another C.

I suppose it isn't the Cochrane memorial in Culross? Because he is so much more famous in Chile and visitors wondered why there was nothing in his birthplace?
